Breast cancer diagnosis is about to be transformed with the introduction into the UK of nu:view, the dedicated diagnostic spiral-CT breast imaging system from Germany.

Developed in Germany by Professor Willi Kalender, the inventor of spiral-CT breast imaging, and his team of physicists and engineers, nu:view delivers 3-D images of the breast without superimposition, which means more accuracy when scans are reviewed.

For patients, the new scanner operates at the same low radiation level as current mammography equipment but eliminates the need for compression of the breast, something many women find uncomfortable and often painful.

JS Medical has been selected by Benny Kalender, CEO of AB-CT Advanced Breast-CT GmbH, to represent the company in the UK. We are in discussions to select the initial centres of excellence to install this innovative treatment and offer nu:view scanning to their patients.
